Imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

The one thing we won't do for any of our brands is cut corners in the manufacturing process, our products are a sum of all parts, that's why we won't compromise on the quality of our seals, washers and components.
In this tough economic climate manufacturers may have a tendency wherever possible to cut corners, especially if those ‘shortcuts' save money.
We never cut the quality of our products and brands, but less scrupilous manufacturers produce inferior quality and try to maximise their sales by adopting the same brand positioning image or reputation - that's what leads to counterfeiting - always buy an original...

Counterfeiting

Like every successful brand we have unfortunately experienced inferior quality counterfeit products on sale worldwide. Just because at first glance a cheaper product looks similiar, this does not mean it will perform to the same standards.
Some counterfeit products are hard to tell apart in the packaging, but be warned; first impressions can be deceptive. Counterfeit products can split, do not fit, or work as they are supposed to.
As a specifier, installer, or even a Homeowner the last thing you want when dealing with plumbing and drainage is damaging and potentially hazardous leaks.
Remember if the product is low cost, but not had the proper quality assurance and testing processes and as a result is unstable and breaks easily - are you really getting value for money?
How can you protect yourself? Ensure you always purchase from a reputable Builders or Plumbers Merchant (such as EEY Plumbing,)
